Letters from the Ozark Cabin’s Guest Book
We loved every single minute of our stay here:
Beautiful cabin We immediately felt like home in this cabin and found everything we needed and even more (great things like the steamer and hot tub). If you have small children and the weather does not allow outdoor activitiy, the Ponca Elk Education Center (open 10-4:30except Tues. & Wed.) is definitely worth a visit. They have lots of hands-on and interactive exhibits and a craft corner. Without Frannie’s detailed information and instructions, we would not have found half of the attractions. Thank you for a great time and we will be back.
We had a wonderful weekend! You have thought of everything, right down to the extra gas tank for the gas grill. We were very happy and thankful that it was here! All of your suggestions were right on. Thanks for everything. The next time we plan on trying your other cabin. We expect it will be just as awesome.
We had a very peaceful and relaxing three days. We enjoyed the awesome views from the deck and upstairs balcony, reading a book in the hammock, playing horseshoes, makes s’mores in the firepit, relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings, watching the newborn barn swallows in their nest. We took the hike at Lost Valley and saw the beautiful waterfalls. We also took a very enjoyable trail ride at Rimrock Cove Ranch. Katie, King and Sierra were great company, and our welcoming committee. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin with us.
What were we thinking? We should have stayed at least four days instead of two. There weren’t enough hours in the day to see what we wanted to see, but we enjoyed what time we had here. You have a beautiful cabin which had everything to make us feel at home. The views are breathtaking. It was also nice having a few good watch dogs around. They were so sweet and we got to visit with Blake for a bit, he is such a nice young man and you are lucky to have him watch over your place and help you here. Anyway, we just had a wonderful time and hope to be able to see your other cabin in the near future.
You’ve created an oasis that’s good for the soul, good for the spirit! We so appreciated all the thoughtful extras – customized directions, DVD collection, horseshoes, food for the fish and the firepit, just to name a few. Outdoor lighting at night was provided by the moon, the stars, and the lighting bugs. We’ll definitely be back. By the way, we saw the resident deer on your trail, and one of the best things? Katie, Sierra, and King!
Thanks for the beautiful views, helpful tips about the activities. The Hawksbill Crag view was amazing. We were able to see the elk on numerous times in the morning and evening. The cabin has a homey feeling and the hot tub was very refreshing after the long hikes we made. We enjoyed the peaceful solitude of the cabin. Sierra and Katie greeted us at the gate and walked with us each evening. Thanks again for a wonderful place to spend our anniversary.
My wife and I had a tremendous time here. Our first anniversary was well spent in the Ozarks. Frannie, the cabin was amazing. I didn’t expect it to be this beautiful and peaceful. We loved the back porch view. Sierra and Katie were the sweetest two dogs. Our little puppy loved playing with them for hours. We would like to thank you for making it easy to relax during our time here. This cabin has everything and more anyone needs to relax. We especially loved the steam shower. After this weekend, we know now that this will be our first of many visits to your cabin. Thanks again for everything.
I’m so glad I found you on the internet. Everything is perfect…the cabin and it’s many amenities, the scenery, the country itself, and let’s not forget man’s best friends; King, Katie, and Sierra. They were sweet and no trouble. The ponies grazing in the yard were unexpected and also perfect, fitting right in with our wonderful adventure. We drove to Jasper on Sunday and saw three elk herds, lots of gorgeous scenery, ate at the Ozark Café, drove back dreaming of one day maybe owning a little slice of heaven on Earth ourselves. Several dips in the hot tub and showers in the rock wall shower helped to soothe our hearts, minds, and spirits. On day two we hiked Lost Valley and saw Eden Falls. Beautiful! Our time here ends too soon. Thanks for the memories. We will be back.
Thank you for a wonderful second visit. It was great to see Sierra, Katie, King and the ponies again. We went to familiar places and to many new ones this time. We especially enjoyed Altus and Paris, the beautiful views from Highway 74, seeing the elk and the swans, and the magnificent bluffs along the Buffalo River. It’s been a great week.
We would like to thank you for your wonderful hospitality during our stay at your cabin. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. We had an amazing visit. Bradley and I got married on Hawksbill Crag on Nov. 13 at sunrise. I will have to send you one of our amazing pics. Thanks again for allowing us to share our special time with your cabin. We can’t wait to book our next stay!
Wow, where do I begin? Your cabin is unbelievable. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Your hospitality was over the top. Where else do you get greeted, and directed to the “hot spots.” Our favorite was just sitting here relaxing with no children and enjoying all the wonderful amenities you have to offer. After going to Jasper this morning it was exciting to see three miniature horses grazing on your property. Wow, is all I can say. We hate to leave but look forward to visiting your other cabin and this one again. Hot tub and steam shower…amazing!
We had such a great time at your cabin. We are sad it went by so fast. The hot tub and the steam shower were the best! We watched movies and played Sorry twice! It was great because every time we turned around we were finding new things at the cabin to do from the fire pit to the horseshoes, to just catnapping in this wonderful atmosphere. We have never been to a place that was so accommodating. There was nothing that we needed that we couldn’t find.
