Would you like a sense of being tucked away from civilization? Spark and rekindle your romance in a forested honeymoon setting. Soak in the hot tub, sit in the sauna, or cuddle by the blazing fireplace and sleep in a king-size bed. This is the place to get back to nature. You may choose to hibernate once you arrive. You can take relaxing walks down country lanes where you can view the wildlife (You will see white tailed deer, squirrels, raccoons, wild turkeys, hummingbirds, barn swallows, morning doves, blue birds, scarlet tanagers, butterflies, dragonflies and maybe a black bear.) Or simply relax around the cabin and enjoy the views from the hot tub. When you are ready for adventure, there are nearby caves and trails to explore or you can choose to cycle, paddle or travel. Come, let the views sooth you and be comforted by a blazing fireplace…or the relaxing comforts of a sauna and a hot tub. Frannie's Cabin is best suited for mature adults and well disciplined children. Simply bring your gear and groceries. |

Here are what my guests are saying about the cabin. |
||||||
| We have stayed in several cabins in the Ozark area but have never had one so well equipped. We definitely over packed. We didn't get out and do much but that was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed everything in the cabin; from the hot tub, reading material, movies and we loved Katie and King. Frannie, you have thought of everything, we needed nothing while we were here, just peace and quiet and we got it. Thank You and we will be back. | ||||||

“Your cabin gets better and better each time my family and I visit. The Christmas decorations were an amazing touch and we appreciate all the details that you have put your time and energy into to make our trip great. We also had a few deer visit us while we were here. They were beautiful!”
“Wow!! Fantastic!! Beautiful!! Relaxing!! What a wonderful place for an astounding get-away! The views from the back porch while relaxing in the hot tub, to the rustic cabin with the amazing stone floors, made this the best cabin we have ever stayed at. You thought of everything. The games, books, DVD selection, even binoculars on the kitchen windowsill. What more could a person ask for!” “We were wanting to get away from our busy schedules of our everyday lives, and we found it in these great mountains of Arkansas! Just relaxing in the rocking chairs in the evening and retracing our trips during the day was just what the doctor ordered! From canoeing, hiking, trying to find the many waterfalls that the area has to offer, visiting Eureka Springs and surrounding areas or just taking a road trip thru the National Forest, it’s all right there at your fingertips!” “Frannie, we have never been greeted by our host, much less had all the extras you have here at your cabin! You made us feel like family, which is hard to find in many vacation places. We are looking forward to being regulars in the future.”
“Frannie, our five days staying at your Ozark mountain retreat ended much too soon! We felt as if we were guests in your personal home instead of a rental. The peace and solitude, the views, the hot tub, the steam shower….I could go on and on! Thanks so much for sharing your little slice of heaven!” Keith and Cora Phillips, Lafayette, LA
“I can’t begin to tell you how wonderfully warm and comfortable your cabin is, Frannie. My husband, brother, sister-in-law and I stayed eight days and it ended way too soon. This is the PERFECT cabin if someone wants to treat themselves to a little luxury with a lot of nature and solitude. The beds are totally AWESOME and I didn’t want to come out of the steam shower!! The kitchen is very functional, and I loved the unique floors. And the decks…if you like sitting on a deck with your morning or afternoon coffee you will love Frannie’s without a doubt!! The many, many hummingbirds are a real treat. And I can’t not mention Katie and King…what sweeties they are.” Terry Murphy, Peyton, Colorado
“Your cabin is wonderful and it is a treat to sit on the back porch in the hot tub and look out at the view. All the details that you have incorporated into the cabin make this the most comfortable and relaxing get away. This makes the third trip for me and I am looking forward to many more visits to your cabin. Thanks!” Robbin, Conway, AR
“Thanks for sharing your solitude with us! My husband and I had a very relaxing adventure here. We were fortunate to see two elk herds down near Boxley, two days in a row. Watching them was magnificent. We hiked to the “Glory Hole”, no water, but still worth the hike. The folks down here are remarkably friendly, nice change for us.” Jeff and Jennifer Ray, Charleston, Illinois
“Thank you so much for all your wonderful hospitality and sharing your charming cabin with us. We enjoyed the views and really enjoyed the hot tub! We relaxed and it felt great. We saw so many elk yesterday! Something I will never forget. We will never forget our fun time here.” Kara Rogers, Owasso, OK
“The Aqua Sox Society thoroughly enjoyed your cabin. We’ve rented several in the last 13 years and this one was the most well equipped…..The hot tub was fabulous. All six of us were able to sleep comfortably. We loved hiking to pedestal rocks and Kings Bluff Falls. Were able to view Hawks Creek Falls. Today we are off to hike some of the Ozark Highland Trail. Hope we can come back.” Susie, Kathy, Linda, Anita, Jamie, Nancy
“My girlfriends and I had a great weekend! We sat, laughed, hiked, laughed, ate, laughed. Thank you for letting us stay here! We try to get away together at least once a year and this is a great spot.” Francie, Captain, Jen, Jen, Jo, Heather, Steffi
“John and I enjoyed our visit to your special hideaway very much. Your cabin has the rustic charm (and welcomed modern conveniences) of several B&B’s we have enjoyed throughout the years but with the special element of very private seclusion.” John and Patricia, St. Louis, MO
“This area is so beautiful! My family and I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. My son especially loved all the little trails to explore, and Katy!” Matt, Erin and Landen Prows, Talala, OK
“Your cabin is incredible! We enjoyed every single thing about it and the scenery and swimming holes were perfect.” Natalie and Ali Foster
“We have thoroughly enjoyed your cabin. The rock shower gives an awesome feeling to a bath. Words cannot describe the hot tub. And the sunset on the back porch gives much peace. Our trip to Lost Valley was very nice. Your cabin is well equipped with everything that is needed. Including a nice, homey, feeling. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us, and we will come again. Oh, the food at Valley Café in Kingston was excellent. (This is our 29th wedding anniversary.)” Melissa and Danny Eason, Forest Hill, Louisiana
“My sons and I love your cabin! The stone shower was a hit. The many extras in the kitchen, the quiet solitude, but most of all, the gorgeous sunsets from the back deck! Katie and King enjoyed the scraps from the steaks we grilled the first night. They also watched the firefly show with us. Unfortunately, we spent too much time “chilling” the first night and then were way too tired from pushing rocks in the Buffalo river (sometimes referred to as –HA! Canoeing * smile * ) to have time for those s’mores around the campfire. * sigh * Maybe next year, when my Marine returns from Iraq, we can visit your lovely area again.” Kathleen Young, Nederland, TX
“Our float trip was perfect and our stay at your cabin was very relaxing. We all agreed that two days is just not long enough to do everything that we want to do! Next time we will have to try to arrange a longer stay.” Victor and Robbin, Conway, AR
“It’s not often that Tom and I find a place that “fits” what we’re in need of – until now! The soul soothing view and the cabin with all the extra amenities (not found in other cabins we’ve rented) created an atmosphere that relaxed both our physical bodies and weary minds! We are leaving for home feeling restored, renewed, and refreshed. Thank you for providing such a unique get-away. I must also give credit to our new friends, King and Katie! What a joy they were to us! We’re going to miss them! Tom and Paula Owens, Maumelle, AR
“We love your cabin. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. The views are beautiful and the location gave us access to everything we wanted to do. The cabin is beautiful and we wanted for nothing while we were here.”
